Dear Network,
We are running the second edition of our Spark EU Climate Justice Training Program.
If you happen to work with youth activists, you would find this very useful for distribution in your contacts lists!
Best
Call for youth participants | ‘’SPARK EU climate action!’’
Do you want to be at the frontlines of climate justice? Do you want to call out EU decision-makers for their inaction on the climate crisis?
Are you interested in...
- Knowing what the EU is doing on climate action;
- Joining existing campaigns or drafting your own campaign to influence EU policies;
- And learning how you can effectively advocate at the EU level…
And are you...
- Between 18 and 30 years old;
- Passionate about fighting the climate crisis;
- Interested in how the EU works (no extensive knowledge required).
And do you speak English?
Then join us to turn up the heat on Europe and its climate inaction by training to become a climate activist!
What will this training consist of?
- 8 online trainings starting on Tuesday, 21 February at 6 – 8pm CET;
- 4-day in-person event in Brussels in 29 May - 1 June 2023.
For the in-person event, EU participants will be selected based on their participation in the programme – more details to be shared in the first online session. Non-EU participants will be automatically invited to the in-person event (visa pending).
Apply by 30 January 2023 here.
This project is organised by Oxfam International's EU office and Climate Action Network (CAN) Europe, and funded by the European Union.
