Latin American March against neo liberalism.

The open veins of Latin America, first there was colonial imperialism, then interventionist imperialism of the United States and the IMF (International Monetary Fund).

Between bullets and blood they turned Chile into a neo-liberal laboratory, a dreamed model for the owners of capital, they privatized from land to water, reduced the figure of the State from guarantor of social rights, to their subsidiary. The unions were dissolved and natural resources were sold to the highest bidder. The GDP (Gross Domestic Product) soared, but so did the levels of inequality and exploitation.

However, they painted it as a role model, an example for the rest of the continent, some fell into this trap, other countries still resist. The truth is that the invisible hand never worked, it only sought to make the rich richer, and the poor poorer.

The events of social mobilization experienced in recent times, both in Chile and in other Latin countries and in the world, show a deep discontent between citizens with the institutions that govern them under this neo-liberal system. What is common among all these struggles, in Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Brasil, France, Lebanon, Argentina, Perú, ...?

A deep malaise with the prevailing system. An education of poor quality and at an abusive cost, poor quality of health, miserable pensions and high unemployment are indicators that there is a clear wear in the way that power is distributed in our society of the 21st century. According to this, we can then assume that there is a globalized society that is no longer willing to continue tolerating the abuse and repression of institutions that, for decades, or even centuries, have held power. The model through which a minority of people accumulates the majority of the resources generated by a country is coming to an end and, as is often the case in these cases, is not being carried out peacefully, but rather with the lifting of a citizenship that is not willing to continue to keep their anger and is no longer afraid, because even that was taken away!

Today the liberal threat has already reached Europe, and threatens to sweep away the social rights and guarantees that took centuries for workers to obtain.
