With the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the discussion around nuclear weapons has reached a new high. At the same time, more and more states are open to a Feminist Foreign Policy (FFP) — but what does that mean in terms of nuclear policy? And what is the stance on US nuclear weapons on German ground from a feminist perspective?

Did you know? Germany hosts about 20 US nuclear warheads in Büchel. Coming from an intersectional feminist perspective, this event will focus on local and global steps to take for the German government towards completely getting rid of nuclear weapons on its territory and beyond!

The fight for a nuclear-free world is a feminist one! Together with our amazing speakers, we will create a space to discuss this issue and elaborate how Germany can align its policies on nuclear weapons with a FFP.
